Equipment
The equipment used in Trackunit Pro is based on GSM technology, as with mobile phones. Data from the unit is sent via GPRS in a compact format that ensures low transmission costs.
As a standard feature, the equipment is supplied with a fitted SIM card with fixed low prices for both domestic and international traffic.
Of course, clients can also use SIM cards from other suppliers if they wish.
Two different GSM units for machines can be used in Trackunit Pro. A variant of the GSM equipment without a GPS receiver is usually used for equipment such as forklift trucks, smaller scissor lifts and other indoor mobile equipment. Equipment for outdoor use is fitted with GSM equipment with a GPS receiver for positioning.
